Popular Science
Researchers at the department are active in popularisation
of science in many ways. For example:
- As part of the scientific council of Göteborg Science Festival, since its start.
- As regular speakers at the science festival, and in many other similar arrangements.
- As part of the board, as well as of the local and national scientific boards of Universeum.
- With appearances in science oriented programs on national radio and television.
- Coordinating the Year of Physics 2005 in Sweden.
- As authors of popular science books.
We inaugurated the international year of physics in Sweden in January, 2005, with
an arrangement hosted by the national physics committee.
